enabling Systems Administrators to install/uninstall VNC
software over their networks. VNC Installer Pro is a centralized
utility; this means, to use it, it can be installed on only one
computer. VNC Installer Pro is powerful and easy to use
software. Administrators can make their life easier by using
this utility
Q: Can I be notified when
VNC Installer Pro is updated?
A: Certainly. Join our mailing list by entering your
e-mail address below, then click on the 'Submit' button
Q: What limitations are there in
an unregistered version?
A: Well, there are no functional limitations for
unregistered versions and you may use VNC Installer Pro (during
the evaluation period) as a fully registered program. In
addition, unregistered versions of VNC Installer Pro limits
number of network computers to 100
Q: What is the easiest way to

network?
A: VNC Installer Pro is licensed on number-of-clients
bases. The 100 clients license gives you the right to use VNC
Installer Pro to be installed on one computer and to scan only
up to 100 computers . If you wish to use VNC Installer Pro to
scan more computers, you need to purchase the appropriate
licenses for the number of clients
For example, if you wish to scan
- up to 100 computers, you need to purchase 100 clients
licenses ($30)
- up to 700 computers within the one geographical location
- you need to purchase the 1000 clients license ($150) and
use VNC Installer Pro for all the computers in your network
- more than 1000 computers within the one geographical
location, purchase the unlimited clients license ($235) and
you won't pay for the extra licenses!

Q: I bought a license for
VNC Installer Pro.
Do I need to buy another one with each upgrade or new release?
A: No. When you purchase a license (any kind) for VNC
Installer Pro, you automatically purchase all future releases
and updates that will be released within 1 year from the date of
purchase. It means that during one year you can download and
install the latest versions of the software from our site, and
the activation key that you received from us will work with the
latest product version
If you don't want to purchase an upgrade, you can use the
program forever; it will never expire, but you won't be able to
use the latest version with new features
Q:
I bought a license for VNC Installer
Pro. Do I need to buy another one to install it in another
computer?
A: Yes. To install VNC Installer Pro in another computer,
you should buy a separate license for each computer. Or you can
buy an Additional VIP Admin License to be used on the new
computer.
Q: Can I install
VNC Installer Pro
under Windows NT/2000/XP if I don't have administrative
privileges?
A: No. To correctly install VNC Installer Pro under
Windows NT/2000/XP you must
have administrative privileges. If you are going to use VNC
Installer Pro throughout your network you must have domain
admin's privileges

VNC Installer Pro
under Windows 9x/Me?
A: No. VNC Installer Pro works on Windows NT/2000/XP
computers only
Q: How to install the Remote
Registry service for Windows 9x/Me computers?
A: To install the Remote Registry service on the Windows
9x/Me computer, follow these steps
- Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and
then double-click Network.
- On the Access Control tab, click User-Level Access
Control.
- Click OK.
- In Control Panel, double-click Network.
- Click Add, click Service, click Add, and then click Have
Disk.
- In the Copy Manufacturer's Files From box, type the path
Admin\Nettools\RemoteReg folder on your Windows 95 CD-ROM,
or Tools\Reskit\Netadmin\Remotereg on your Windows 98
CD-ROM, and then click OK.
- Restart your computer
Please note that Windows Millennium Edition does not include
the Remote Registry service. However, you can install this
service on the Windows Me computer using files from the Windows
98 CD-ROM

Q: Why Iam not able to connect to
Windows XP Home Edition computers?
A: Windows XP Home Edition has limited features like
remote access, security, performance, manageability and
multi-lingual features. Please check Microsoft web site for more

Q: After resetting the password,
Iam not able to connect to remote computers with new password?
A: In some VNC software, you need to restart the winvnc
service for the change to take place
Q: Can I type my own password and
set it on remote hosts?
A: Currently VIP does not support this feature. You have
to use your VNC Software to set your local password. VIP will
then copy it from registry
